It’s important to know that you don’t have to live with anxiety and fear and that therapy can help!

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) has become the leading treatment for anxiety, and with good reason. Research indicates that CBT can be an effective treatment for anxiety after as few as 8 sessions.
CBT works by identifying and addressing how a person's thoughts and behaviors interact to create anxiety. The goal of CBT for anxiety is to identify and correct these negative thoughts and beliefs. The idea is that if you change the way you think, you can change the way you feel.

Cognitive behavioural therapy is a short term, goal-oriented psychotherapy treatment that focuses on helping people with a very specific problem, helping them learn how to identify and change destructive or disturbing thought patterns that have a negative influence on behavior and emotions.
CBT is based on a the theory that it’s not events themselves that upset us, but the meanings we give them. It also ,encompasses a range of techniques to help anyone learn how to better manage stressful life situations.
